Generally, there are no problems with editing your project after it has gone live. For example, on a project with multiple phases you may want to update the text in the hero banner for each phase. You may also need to correct things like spelling/grammatical errors.
There are a few things which cannot be edited after a project launches - these are detailed below:
The project URL cannot be changed once a site has launched. Doing so would cause any links (shared via social media, email, on other websites, etc.) to the project to break - any visitors to the previous URL would see an error page.
Page slugs are what appears in a Commonplace URL after .commonplace.is - for tiles, these usually look like this:
/[language]/proposals/[page slug] - e.g. https://democontent.commonplace.is/en-GB/proposals/all-question-types
As with the project URL, if a page slug changes it will cause any links to that tile to break.
Survey and demographic questions should not be edited after launch, as this causes inconsistencies in the responses you've collected. If you spot a typo in a question, or if there's something in a question that's very important to change, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
The team page should be finalised before launch - under GDPR, a respondent should be informed about which organisations may have access to their personal data when they share it. If a new organisation is added to the team page, existing respondents will not have consented to sharing their data with that new organisation.
