Offering your project in multiple languages is the best way to reach audiences who may otherwise be excluded from your engagement or consultation. Multi-lingual Commonplaces can help you gain a more representative response by helping to maximise the diversity of your audience.
If you want to translate your project into another language, the most comprehensive solution is to use Commonplace's comprehensive translation service - the new name for our existing full platform translation service. This ensures that all aspects of the respondent journey have been translated, including all of their emails, news and surveys. All pages are also fully adapted for right-to-left languages.
The respondent journey has been reviewed end-to-end by a human translator to check that the experience is coherent to a native speaker. Respondents simply change language via an easy drop down and we remember their language for future logins and emails. This is a paid service - please contact your Customer Success Manager for further information.
A lower cost alternative is our our light translation solution. Enabled by the user via a widget, content can be translated into one of 44 currently supported languages. Please note that as this is an in-browser solution, the quality of translation may vary. Emails sent from the platform will also not be translated using this approach.
