To protect the privacy of respondents, not all data that is provided by a user is shown in the Commonplace dashboard.
Postcodes are shown in a partial format, with the last character redacted
Special Category Data is shown in an aggregated format, once you have reached a certain threshold of responses - but is not shown on the level of individual respondents
Email addresses are not shown in the dashboard at all - emails are handled by the system automatically (such as our integrated project news tools)
The data above can be provided on request by completing our Sensitive Data Request form. By requesting this data, you are assuming responsibility for ensuring the security and proper use of this data.

Sensitive data includes the following:
Answers to demographic questions defined by the ICO as Special Category Data - such as those concerning ethnicity, religious beliefs, health, disability, sexual orientation, political beliefs, etc.
The email addresses of those who have responded to the project or subscribed to project updates, comment replies, etc.
Data that could be used to identify an individual, such as full name, full postcode or home address
Sensitive data can be used to enrich your analysis - for example, by understanding whether some groups feel more positive or negative than others. The data can also be used for contacting individuals when you have permission to do so - such as contacting the winner of a prize draw.
Sensitive data must not be used to:
Discriminate against, threaten or victimise individuals or groups
Contact individuals without express permission to do so
In order to protect personal data and privacy, access to sensitive data is restricted and requires the approval of a lead admin. If you are not a lead admin we will verify your request with the lead admin of the project for which you have requested it.
Upon submission of the data request form, we will aim to process your request within 1 working day

You will receive the data via a password-protected WeTransfer link - this link will remain active for 7 days. If you are not able to access WeTransfer, please indicate via the form.
